THE HUMAN SIDE OF AI

Technology keeps getting smarter. So why does using it still feel complicated?

LESAT Labs began with the experience of working with technology, feeling its complexity firsthand, and wanting to make AI easier to use for the work people do every day.

A note from behind the product

02 — A FOUNDER'S LETTER

A personal note on why we started.

It started with a persistent frustration.

I have a background in Informatics and have spent years working with different kinds of technology—from digital marketing and media intelligence to developing digital products.

But the more I worked with AI, the more I noticed that technology meant to make work easier could also introduce a new kind of complexity. I would spend time refining instructions, repeating outputs that missed the mark, or learning another application just to finish one task.

It made me wonder: if someone used to working with technology can still struggle with this, what does the experience feel like for people who are simply trying to run their work or business without a technical background?

I am interested in AI not only because the technology is fascinating. I am interested in what it can help people do in real life—provided the way to use it is not more complicated than the problem it is meant to solve.

“If someone used to working with technology can still struggle with this, what does the experience feel like for people without a technical background?”

03 — WHY INDONESIA

The technology exists. But it is not yet useful to everyone.

For many small-business owners, digital work arrives alongside the work they already do: replying to customers, preparing promotions, explaining products, and planning what comes next.

They do not necessarily need technical terminology or a long chain of tools. They need help that is understandable, affordable, accessible from a phone, and natural to use in Indonesian.

01

Easy to begin

A first experience should help someone move forward, not make them learn an entirely new system.

02

Close to real work

AI becomes meaningful when it helps draft a message, explain a product, or shape a plan that can actually be used.

03

Fits everyday life

Familiar interactions and access from devices people already use can make technology feel closer and more practical.

04 — WHAT EXISTS TODAY

LESAT AI Studio

We are starting with something simple.

LESAT AI Studio is a practical AI learning platform that helps beginners move from unfamiliarity with different tools toward more guided content creation and digital workflows.

The learning experience we are building

01

Understand the context

Start with what needs to be done before choosing a tool or writing a prompt.

02

Follow a path

Learn through lessons and examples designed to reduce the need for guesswork.

03

Try and adapt

Use AI actively, review what it produces, and adjust the workflow to fit the work.

Not a collection of promises. This is the product foundation we are continuing to build.

05 — WHERE WE WANT TO GO

Learning to use AI is a first step. Not the destination.

Over time, we want to bring this experience closer to everyday work through LESAT Business Copilot—a proposed product direction for an Indonesian-language LLM assistant designed to help small-business owners.

Concept illustration, not a currently available product

“I have a new food product. Help me prepare an announcement for existing customers and ideas for this week's content.”

01

Describe it naturally

A business owner explains a product or problem without needing to know prompt-engineering terminology.

02

Receive relevant help

The assistant helps shape marketing drafts, customer replies, product descriptions, or a working plan.

03

Keep the work moving

The result becomes a starting point the owner can review, adapt, and use.

LESAT Business Copilot is still a product direction we are exploring—not a feature available today.

06 — WHAT WE BELIEVE

People should not have to become AI experts to benefit from AI.

We want to narrow the distance between increasingly capable AI and the real needs that are often quite simple. Technology should give people more room to do their work, not add another layer of complexity.
